The first time I picked up a camera I was in 6th grade. I was the photographer for my school newspaper. I lost that camera. It would be years of taking photos with disposable cameras before I could buy another one, and when I did I could only afford an inexpensive 35mm Phoenix camera. I used that camera to take some of the photos I love the most. That proves that while it’s ideal to have a good camera and a good lens, it’s more important to be curious, to be sensitive, and to have a perspective.
